Nitrox Diver

About the Course

The Nitrox course is the entry level certification for technical or recreational divers wishing to utilize Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN) as a breathing gas. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for using Nitrox mixes from 22 through 40 percent oxygen content.

Certification is through TDI, IANTD, NAUI, PADI.

Prerequisites

Be at least 18 years old
Be certified to the Open Water Diver level or equivalent

Time Frames

The Nitrox Diver course generally takes a half day and is typically combined with the Cavern Diver course.
With sufficient notice, we can usually accommodate requests for specific course dates.
