Advanced/Trimix Blender Course

This course provides the training required to competently and safely handle oxygen and prepare mixtures of Trimix for diving. The objective of this course is to train candidates in the safe handling of oxygen and proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards involved in blending Trimix for diving.

Although an oxygen analyzer is strongly recommended, your instructor will have one available for use. All student-supplied cylinders must be oxygen clean.
This course requires one day to complete. Curriculum consists of class sessions, blending of Nitrox to a predetermined target mix, blending Trimix to a predetermined target mix and analyzing all gases blended.

Prerequisites: Certification as a Nitrox Diver, certification as a Nitrox Blender and a minimum of 18 years of age.

Certification Available: TDI/IANTD (with additional prerequisites).
